We are going to light up BRC for the holidays! Every home and office at BRC—in the Village (independent living), assisted living, nursing households and Gardner House—will have candles in their windows (battery-operated LEDs for safety and convenience). We’ll gather at the Oasis—our lovely outdoor pavilion—to start the holiday season off right with the lighting of our 22’ Christmas tree, live holiday music from the BRC Village Choir, and other seasonal treats. Bridgewater College athletes will join BRC residents in the Houff Community Center (Mack Rooms) for a fun afternoon celebrating the Chinese New Year. The first day of the traditional 15-day festival is January 25. 2020 is the Year of the Rat. The rat, the first of the Chinese zodiac animals, is said to be clever and a quick thinker.
